Wicked Sticks are hand-cut and sanded. Mahogany, Oak, Maple and Hickory paddles are oil finished to preserve natural beauty of the wood. Burnt Pine paddles are torch burnt and re-sanded, then finished with a matte acrylic.
These are a very snappy stingy item. They are not meant to be swung like a paddle rather pulled back at the tip of the rod an the released. Please see the second last picture in the listing for the flexibility.
